Validation visit

Since 2016, we have proudly maintained the esteemed status of an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) S + C. This designation is a pivotal component of a European Union partnership program, facilitating close collaboration between customs authorities and businesses.

The overarching goal of this program is to strengthen the security of the international supply chain. Noteworthy is the widespread recognition that the AEO permit commands, extending across all EU member states and gaining acknowledgment from administrations worldwide.

On November 15, 2023, a validation visit took place at Johnson Matthey Battery Systems, attended by representatives from the European Commission, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Poland, and customs officials from Poland, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Malta.

Security standards in the international supply chain

A validation visit occurred at JMBS on November 15, 2023, with representatives from the European Commission, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Poland, and customs officials from Poland, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Malta in attendance. Commendation was received during the visit for the standards implemented in our company. These standards are specifically crafted to ensure security in the supply chain, aligning with the requirements for entities holding an AEO permit.

Thanks to this event, we have our share in the negotiations between the European Union and the United Kingdom, leading to the mutual recognition of the verification system for businesses applying for a certificate—such as the EU AEO standard.

We are proud to have had the opportunity to participate in this meeting.
