# Light E-mobility

The challenge of the market

Electric mobility always, and in any form, focuses on safety and sustainability. It also involves larger battery packs, which presents design and manufacturing safety challenges. Meeting the required certifications is the key in this market sector.

How do we deal with this?

Electric vehicles require lightweight batteries with multiple safety features at both mechanical and electrical level. We’re industry leaders at providing batteries of this type for electric vehicles, which is why we’ve become the go-to designers and manufacturers for a variety of high-profile automotive customers.

Our batteries have the necessary high energy needed to power vehicles, as well as the safety features required to make such high energy output safe – features such as a robust mechanical design and multi-level electrical protection. The result is a battery that’s powerful yet safe to use in even the most inclement conditions, plus can be trusted to hold up even during road traffic accidents.

We’re aware that certification for batteries used within vehicles driven or ridden on public roads are necessarily strict. To ensure correct certification is gained, we offer a range of tests, including EMC testing (R10) and crush tests. We can also add additional safety if required by utilizing modern LFP cells with high energy density.
